December days

OK! So a number of my friends have been doing the "post every day in December" meme (kaberett's master post), and I've been feeling I don't post nearly enough interesting stuff, so I'd like to join in. Please give me prompts, short or long, and I'll do my best. Things outside what I usually post about (such as that is) are good, but I don't mind. If you want to pick a day, go ahead, otherwise I'll pick the next open slot.

Comments screened just in case, but I guess most things won't be sensitive, so please say if you don't want something to be public, otherwise I'll unscreen and filter responses as it seems appropriate.
