OK! So a number of my friends have been doing the "post every day in December" meme (kaberett's master post), and I've been feeling I don't post nearly enough interesting stuff, so I'd like to join in. Please give me prompts, short or long, and I'll do my best. Things outside what I usually post about (such as that is) are good, but I don't mind. If you want to pick a day, go ahead, otherwise I'll pick the next open slot.

Comments screened just in case, but I guess most things won't be sensitive, so please say if you don't want something to be public, otherwise I'll unscreen and filter responses as it seems appropriate.

Can you talk about your hair? Have you always worn it long? How do people react to it? How does it fit into your image of yourself?

Since you're still looking for prompts: tell us something that you've learned or discovered about yourself that surprised you?

ooh, some of these are really very interesting things that I want to know what you think about and keep forgetting! Or, in the case of P=NP, can listen to lots before I think I'll remember it all. Thank you, our friends, for asking Colin exciting thinky things when he's on holiday.

Oh, on the 31st, I'm writing a post about 'game of the month' which might become a tumblr staple, I haven't decided yet. Would you like to do that too? I know you haven't been keeping a list, so it might be duplicating 'game I enjoyed' too much?

Also, how about talking about the astronomy lectures? Either the lectures themselves or the experience of taking Judith?

I'd like 24th December, talk about your favourite carol, and 20th December (or thereabouts, when you're on holiday, anyway), if you had total free choice, money/time no object for a holiday, where would you go and what would you do? I thought about asking you to tell a joke, so if you have free slots maybe do that too?

If you're still looking to fill out the rest of the month, how about, borrowed from someone's common on ghoti's prompt, "If you could change one assumption that people you encounter frequently make, what would you change?"

And following on from your programming response, which language(s) do you use most now (C and Python?) and what improvements would you like to see in them?
