[livejournal.com profile] sphyg, [livejournal.com profile] kaet, and I watched The Two Towers again last night, and I had fun spotting all the things I missed last time (some quite gruesome). I wondered about Helm's Deep: they're standing in a high exposed position, in a thunderstorm, carrying tall pointy metal things. Is it just me who thought that THIS IS NOT BIG AND IT IS NOT CLEVER?

Slept in again, d'oh, and had a weird nightmare involving being stuck in the changing room following a P.E. class at school and being unable to find my schoolbag, which I needed because I had homework I hadn't done yet and needed to do that lunchtime (a trick I used to pull all the time at school), and apparently there was some particularly scary teacher I didn't want to antagonize. It's been a while since I had a school nightmare.

Relax - Middle Earth meteorology isn't like real-world meteorology. You can tell by the way none of the mountain ranges have a rain shadow.
