I seem to be continuing to be fairly crap at organizing the various events happening around me. It's been getting worse recently as I've managed to have at least one thing happening practically every evening: I've managed to double-book myself a few times recently by mistake as a result. This doesn't mean any slight to the people involved, so please don't take it as such, just thwap me as appropriate if you notice it. :)

I'm trying to be more fascist about keeping a diary of upcoming things. With any luck I might keep it up this time.

Get a nice big wall-calendar. Get some post-its. Keep the calendar, post-its and a pen right next to your keyboard. Make it a calendar of attractive women, so you're sure to look at it regularly.

And, if you were me, you'd buy different-colored post-its for different types of events. But that may be too organizationally advanced for you :P

I found a palmpilot was the solution, as this turns it into a techno-toy issue, which ups my interest enough to mean that scheduling actually happens.

Ditto. But then, my palm has been my solution hammer to every problem that looks even vaguely like a nail since then.

Is one allowed to sulk if you decide in a manner displeasing to one? IAMFI, &c.

Yeah, I have the diary problem as well ... I tried to solve it by getting a nice leather-bound Economist diary, but that just functions as an attractive desk ornament.
